Interested in becoming a member of Soh Daiko? Sign up for one of the two recruitment days this November and see if you have what it takes! All experience levels are welcome. We’ll provide everything you need to play – just bring yourself and comfortable, flexible clothing.

The recruitment process will include an introduction to the fundamentals of Japanese drumming through a short lecture, demonstrations, and guided exercises. Please note that Soh Daiko rehearses on Thursdays 7:00-9:00pm and Saturdays 2:00-7:00pm . In order to be considered for membership, you must be available during our regular rehearsal times.

Attendance is only required at one of the following recruitment sessions to be considered for entry into our trainee program.

Session 1: Saturday (Nov. 9) from 1:30pm – 6:00pm
Session 2: Saturday (Nov. 16) from 1:30pm – 6:00pm
*Check-in starts at 1:00pm
